WOW, 36 lbs?? !!
I was not expecting this much
You need a lot of carbon fiber on a car to save 36 lbs...

Great Bang for the buck

Any more updates on this? I ordered the i48CX about a month ago and am still waiting for tracking info, but this is a significant weight savings on a part that sits up high in the car, so I'm excited! Any tips on installation?

I cant find this on their site. Do you have any more details. Is it the G20 on their site?
Thanks.

My i48CE failed after 3 years and I know of another Audi R8 friend that had the same issue. It was very easy to get sold one. Getting support is a pain. Kinda strange they both failed just outside the warranty period (which is weak IMO). Only 1 full year warranty, 2 years pro-rated. Lead-acid have better warranties. Anyways - when they work, it's awesome. But I think they are fragile and you have to be diligent on how you charge them (be sure you get a ION charger) and always keep them within a certain 'voltage' range.
