Sadly I didn't go; will probably see FSW in Austin and at Petit Le Mans.

Whoopsy knows all that can be known at this juncture; or at least all they'll divulge to even their best customers.

You guys realize that if we give away what people from the inside tell us in confidence: 1) half the time someone will fxz what we say and not believe us anyway 2) nobody will tell us anything 3) it won't speed up the development process at all Just sayin'

I wonder to what extent FSW or AP or similar would engage in intentional misdirection to troll this forum (and RT) and amuse themselves.

Spent the night at Arnage and Mulsanne with my 10 and 8 year olds and my father so I'm pretty tired. What a night and finish! Porsche hospitality was amazing and the race was epic. Not much info on 991.2 GT3 but really really seems the next RS is going turbo from every single person I talked to. Was much more enamored with race than recon.

He has repeatedly remarked that he and the GT team read various fora.

CJ your points all so true, but thought a few tidbits of info from this epic event may be shared in one place here . Like fishing it's fun and you don't always catch a fish, but better than sitting on the couch .

Hybrids - don't need a cleaning lady to get the message; WEC and F1 both playing the same tune.

So I wonder how much of this prediction or cleaning lady info by fxz may end up to be correct.

No more GT3 NAs (Apart two VIP limited iterations which btw are not GT3!
aka 991R MT and 991RS light (Cup) edition made in few 600/900 units)

also the GT3 Turbo it is anticipated 1 year (End 2016 rather than the already AP confirmed months ago End 2017) to compete with Ferrari 488 Turbo just homologated at WEC
where Porsche just retired the current NAs

So current 991 GT3 IS the last NA GT3 forever
(and highest revving 911 Pure NA produced since the first 911)

Porsche german Official dealers 991.1 GT3 prices are already shooting the roof + The WEC above + Some Reliable Cleaning Ladies

Easy no?

CJ has a point...which is why a closed group should be created for this purpose.

sounds like a perfect day!
Porsche Austria invited me to join their LeMans party at the RedBullRing - but i had no time unfortunately...

and this:

let a lot open... what was meant. GT2RS, GT3RS as turbo or 992GT3RS as turbo.

my guess is 991.2GT3RS is going turbo.
GT2 and GT2RS = dead. (based on GT3RS will be (turbo)weapon and based on the TurboS no need for normal GT2)
than the 991.2GT3 can also get the 4.0l.

one BUT still in my mind: my local dealer (a somehow good one) has a list of 991.2GT2RS and 991.2GT3RS - with more than 10 people signed+prepaid for each model.

...

what i think we all agree is that there will come another limited model at the end of the 991 range. somehow NA 4.2l, somehow "RS Cup/R/...", maybe MT on choice

"FXZ what he said"! Classic C.J. line...

Here is the deal though, sometimes I feel like there are some very passionate, smart Porsche GT guys around here that want to be in on some of the cool kid info. The gap between the halves and have nots around here is huge. Frankly, I count on guys like C.J. to provide inside trader info...
