I have had GMG on all my GT cars except this 991 RS where I decided to try CMS knowing I could return it (no questions asked) if I didn't like it. I didn't even know this product existed; since I buy my wheels, tires, brakes and brake fluid from CMS I thought I'd give it a shot.

The CMS exhaust sounds a little deeper and lower than the GMG. I cannot speak to any HP gains because I have never measured them. I buy the exhaust for sound since Porsche did it right with the HP. Anyways, any gain in HP is usually not noticeable in my opinion.

Bottom line, I wanted to try something different, something new, something made with utmost quality (I pay huge attention to detail and like to think outside of the box).

911_RS, the GMG exhaust is awesome; I've tried it. The CMS exhaust is awesome too.

Don't bash something without trying it out or seeing/hearing it. This is just another option for our phenomenal cars!

Oh I wasn't bashing, I was just amazed and curious about the 12whp increase knowing that the only difference is the exhaust tip... (Stock headers and cats) That's about 15-16hp at the crank.

No doubt it sounds amazing, I'm sure it does!

Cool. I wasn't directing the bashing statement to you. But re-reading my post it kinda comes across that way. Sorry.

No need to apologize...

I'm sure CMS will make some headers and side muffler delete pipes after this, keep us posted!

Got any more pictures of the exhaust on your car from different angles? Thanks!

Looks trick. I like it. Will contact them as I am looking for a nice bypass for more sound.

Default More video...

In case you're wondering how scavenging works, here is a video to show you. Compressed air blown into one side actually pulls the torch into the other side. Isolated outlets do not, while a balance tube will actually blow out the other side.

As we've said, form follows function -- that's how you unleash incredible sound and make power.

I would be shocked if there were any HP gains more than 3 - 5 with this system or ours.....I like that even our plate was copied......

What's that saying.....

Lastly, I didn't want to respond but when it appeared that some were questioning our design, I wanted to at least respond......

I asked PMNA about this and they have never instituted merging rear tips in their race exhausts as they want them separate.....like on the Clubsport, Cup, R and RSR.....

It's obviously your design James... Except the merging tips. Yeah you told me before that there's so little hp gains in this setup, more of sound and weight loss advantage... unless if you change the headers and cats. That's a different story
