For those going this year: enjoy and be safe.

For those not going this year - which sadly includes us after much debate here- the WEC iPad app streams the global feed, multiple selectable in car cameras, the ACO/WEC commentary (in English this is essentially Radio Le Mans, John Hindaugh and co) which can be muted, and live T&S. Mirrored to a good home theater, it's a very decent TV race experience and you get the full 24 hours plus qualifying sessions, and more.

It is quite like being in the media center, except you don't get to go and enjoy hours at a stretch track side, in the pits, or with team hospitality. A bit of planning makes up for the latter. And the media center at Le Mans is notorious for poor climate control and plumbing, which chances are your home is not!

Regardless, if you want to follow the race live but cannot be there, for a modest fee the WEC / Le Mans 24 app is a surprisingly good option. Salut!

We arrived last week and settled into a nice AirBnB in Le Mans. The residents call it a small town, however it's pretty large compared to small town USA, population over 50k.

Scrutineering was a unique experience, an opportunity to see the PR up close, watch the team photos, and say hello to the US driver contingent.

Having a great time all around.

Great pictures, I find it fascinating to see photos of photographers jockeying for position. It must be a sport in its own right.

For those of you there, please post as many photos as you wish! It is always neat to see the race from varying perspectives.

For those of us that cannot attend there is not even a viable TV option to view the race. My satellite provider dropped SPEED channel 2 years ago and replaced it with something called Velocity. Like the majority of these new 'specialty channels' the majority of the content has nothing to do with the subject matter (like my post?). Unfortunately, I don't have Fox Sports channels only TSN and Sports Net which have no coverage either.

Enjoy the race, I'll have to wait for IMSA at Mosport

WEC IMSA App. Works on phone/tablet or online.

I am streaming qualifying 2 presently on the app.

You have to pay for it, but the cost is trivial.

Try this site I am not sure if it will help but its on youtube

As Quest TV Here in the UK are pushing it (Le Mans) this year as its Fathers day weekend and the football (soccer) is already on other channels. They are doing live and catchups so it may all be on this site - Hope this helps O_Sr

Wet, definitely wet. Found a covered spot and shot a few good photos.
