Will do. It is backordered with no ETA at this point.

I would be curious with what you find on your GT3. When I drove the R press car in Germany a few months back, it felt a little bit unstable at above 260km/h on the autobahn. I don't know how much downforce that little diffuser generates, but it sure doesn't feel like much at all.

Not surprised. All the units are probably going on production vehicles at this point

For those that wonders, the R diffuser will bolt right onto a GT3RS with no modifications, all both holes are the same and no clearance issue.

Whoopsy are you sure? I look like the R diffuser doesn't have a cutout for the cooler like the RS.

Same cutout on RS is on GT3 too, here's another picture:

Does anyone have a good photo of an actual R? Maybe it's got the same cutout?

From what I've seen, it doesn't look like that R has that opening. I'm assuming that's the customization Suncoast mentions in the product description. The pic is an example of under an R from instagram.

It's what my shop foreman said when he was doing the PDI on the R.

Oooo...I bet I saw your car up on the hoist when I took delivery a couple weeks ago...

I had a good look at the diffuser...

Does anyone have any hard data as to how much downforce the diffuser would add? I ask because my understanding is that you need a fairly large tunnel for the diffuser to work effectively.

It's not my car.

The downforce added is shall we say minimal. I know what AP said publicly, but privately when I talked to Weissach people they all said the car is quite unstable at high speed. The R is not designed to be a 300km/hr autobahn cruiser that's for sure.

That might be the most honest and helpful assessment--thanks

Looks like 4 bolt-on pieces to me. If someone measures them, I'm sure any decent shop can fab those.

installation looks easy. clearance is not an issue. But would like to know if it will lead to any imbalance on a GT3.

look at above link and pic. The new GT3RS or GT2RS God knows what it is seems to have a similar diffuser as the 911R

thanks
