Talking 991.2 GT3 AND GT3RS Configurable DEPOSIT Allocation for DUMMIES

From the experience of having placed a deposit on my first GT3 in August of 2013, I learned a couple of things that I would like to implement now for my 991.2 GT3RS:

1. Check Rennlist frequently in order to have the most up-to-date terms of what others are experiencing.

2. Stop-by your local dealerships early enough in the process, so you can increase your chances of getting an allocation at terms that are fair to you.

3. If you see an opportunity on Rennlist act on it immediately.

4. Cold call the U.S. dealerships that have a track record of selling at the MSRP first, in order to get the best possible terms.

- Then find out what their previous history is for getting allocations and place your deposit on the ones that have the best track record.

- Check-in with them regularly until you get the great news and they provide you with your Commission Number.

Please feel free to add more to this list

From cold calling this week, I actually found a changeable GT3RS allocation that locks next month with a September delivery. So, please PM if interested.

Also, they will not take anything less than $50,000 over the MSRP, trust me, I tried!

Option B: throw pile of money on top of MSRP, order from almost anyone anytime.

Are allocation numbers for each dealer published anywhere?

I already have deposits down at 2 dealerships! I would be very surprised if Porsche decided not to release a .2 GT3 with an NA motor.
