Here's a pic to show how flush it sits. I was going to pull it off to show the fixings but it really is anchored on there tightly. It think the best way to remove it would be to slide something flat in between to separate the velcro.

This is the greatest story ever.

I got pulled over in a freaking rental Hyundai and the guy was not so nice.

Porsche....there is no substitute!

What I do is take a picture and have it made on a sticker reflective material, I always have the original plata with me just in case but it looks so real nobody notices......

Maybe in Ohio, but here in NY I attend a gathering on Sunday mornings where a cop sits at the exit and tickets anyone without a front plate. I'd be getting one weekly.

Thank you. I assume the backing of the two Velcro parts stay on with a peel and stick type adhesive?

A buddy of mine just got a f458 speciale. I went over to his place to check it out - first thing he said was do you want to go for a ride? Of course!

we take off and he starts driving briskly (in a sleepy part of town). Im thinking surely someone will call the police and encouraging him to take it easy. He eventually cooled things down and asked if i wanted to drive. So we switch and immediately after i crank the car, two cops come flying towards us from the opposite direction and do a u-turn as soon as they see us.

I'm freaking out - like they are really going to believe me that "i wasnt driving" earlier.

I proceed to drive like a grandma (like i always do according to my friends!) and fortunately they did nothing more than tail us for 15 min on our way back to his house. Longest 15mim of my life! Not sure how i would have explained that to my wife!

That's an easy one... Just tell them "I wasn't driving... He was..." (point to your friend). They hear that all the time. Or do the old switch-a-roo when you stop. They won't notice that either.

Every time I get pulled in IL for speeding I get away with a no front plate ticket!! 5 times and counting. Last time was "I heard you".

Nice!
