I mean he just posted it within the hour or so that he'd be willing to sell it for $40k over so we'll see.

OP originally had it at $50k+ over and now lowered it to $40k over. Regardless, a great deal for someone looking to pick up a brand new UV RS.

Beat me to it. I guess I'm getting slow in my old age.

The problem is that the 212k msrp still puts the price well into the 250's. Lots of options on this build.

I'd be willing to sell the car at $40k over MSRP - gets me back half of my deposit. Otherwise, I'm going to walk on the deposit and let the dealer mark it up to whatever they want. That puts the car at $256k all-in.

If interested, please pm me. Thanks.
So ..... Your dealer won't give you back 100% of your deposit if you find a buyer?

With the high demand for these cars, can't they find a buyer themselves and let you off the hook and refund your deposit? I mean, how long should it take to move an RS?

How can anyone know what the true negotiated price is?

This seems a little suspect.

Wow! If I had the extra funds and I was not happy with the plain vanilla 991 GT3, I would have jumped on this. GLWS!

I think most of the people that were going to pay way over msrp because they had to have the car, already did. I want an rs to actually drive and am only willing to pay 20-30k over msrp if that. And I hate that. Flippers won't buy at this price because there isn't enough room for them to make money. More are coming right now, so the market in 1-2 months will really tell the value of these cars.

They are keeping your deposit?? And that's a big deposit too. My local dealer only wants 1k deposits and will give it back if you pass on the car even after it shows up.

don't disagree that there is a lot of hype.
but a thread on RL is hardly a wide buying sample size though either.

in full disclosure i am biased/invested in hoping the RS cars remain above MSRP because i paid a premium for my PTS car. so definitely a bit glass full here...

we will see...for sure the market will clear a bit with the additional allocations... but then i think there will be a 2nd wave of people looking to pay MSRP or even a little more still for very low mileage lightly used pristine examples. again, biased perspective.
