I’ll do a few track days in the next two weeks on this setup and will report in as well.

So far only one session but very impressed with the solid pedal feel. Opening lap and last lap identical. So much so that I forgot to adjust for tires going off after lap 4 ;-)
More stopping power and once used to shorter pedal travel, easier to balance on ABS.

Guess my brain just programmed itself to adjust as the pedal got longer on steel rotors LOL.

So brake feel felt more solid?.. is this similar to what pccb feel like?.. because I thought those also keep with a different brake booster setting?

I have the grabbiest pads now.
Ive been told this gives more modulation then PCCB but I can’t compare.

Thats why I wanted them installed at the track, right after reference “before” laps.
I will do the same with diffuser and R7.

I don’t mind the soft feel of RE1’s / steel and I don’t mind grabby either.
You get used to it. I do love that they stay the same.

This rotor and pad combo, I figure is good for 0.5 Second

My first laps of the day I was pushing hard, braking into a 2:169.
At 3PM with temperature riding from 72F to 86F the brakes were still super cool, great to modulate and consistent.
I pushed hard, completely cooking the tires and overdriving the car everywhere with SC and TC firing away just to pound the brakes as hard as I could and I still got into the 2:17's.

First few laps of the day, waking up. Nice cool tires, cool air:

After
coming in when I cooked the tires, PSI went from 25 to 35PSI..Bled them to 29-31 and went out again.
Even with hot tires and hot brakes I got the 2:169 brakes totally unaffected.

My
last laps of the day, sloppy as hell, trying to kill the brakes but they were still unaffected.
Lost about a second a lap because 86F and melted tires :-)

How do you rate ST Vs PCCB?

This is a very good question.
How do you rate ST against PCCB.
Which is better if money was not the consideration?

I'll be able to weigh in on this in a few weeks after a couple of days at Thermal. Just had the STs installed. Still have to bed the brakes. Hopefully will be able to get to it this weekend.

I have now about 13 hard track days on the car, so another handful and I should be due for the first refurbish we estimate.
The first light wear is visible.

The performance is astounding to me.

I have done 5 days on the ST rotors and I love them. Performance matches the PCCBs but longer pad life. My pads show no significant wear, which is attributable to the lower operating temps. I'm looking forward to trying more aggressive pads, which these rotors allow you to do.
