Let's help Porsche pick colors POLL
hey guys- seeing as how we spend way too much time picking colors and talking about PTS and not talking about how to drive these cars faster or going on epic road trips often enough, or complaining about something that a dealer did to us, let's put this collective creativity to good use and help Porsche pick the next batch of colors for the next GT3 and GT3rs cars.
every GT3 and race car has been available in White, other than the 2007 RS which was for some reason PTS for white (LOL$$$). Mostly we have been confined to a four color palette with the RS as well.
So I'm going to put 20 color choices (I think that is all RL will let a poll use)
lets see who wins. and we will see if we guess right.
I think we should limit ourselves to 10 total guesses per voter to make a top 10.

I had to include a few obvious colors that are always in there- guards red, black, white, GT silver etc.
really curious to see if people intentionally down vote some of the PTS colors to keep them PTS.

I picked my 10, but honestly they should just offer white for free and a random selection of 10 '73 RS colors at a $10k cost. They had something for everyone on the 2.7...

This may end up being a poll of people's favourite colours. Beyond just picking from our favs, I do think Porsche should (re)introduce something new that we haven't seen in a while too (like NateOZ's suggestion). Kind of like how UV became hugely popular now. I would love to see something like Light Ivory again, maybe instead of white. I would love to see something like Jade green again. And maybe an old dark blue (Bali, etc). Or a brand new and intensely interesting light green. Or something like a pale yellow.

Okay, who didn't pick white? Blasphemy!

I tried to pick a color group that would satisfy most enthusiasts with samples from each color family.
I think Carmine should be on the list. Had it been there I might have chosen it over Guards Red - although I know it would be blasphemy to suggest that they not offer GR.

C'mon we all know the goal is to offer 1 or 2 interesting colors and the rest "normal" so they can pad margins with PTS options through an elusive process that gets people all wired up and fighting for allocations. It's part of the game!
But on these cars, I think they should always offer 2 colors in the spirit of the traditional german racing cars: Silver and white. Everything else... well thats personal. But I like those 2.

"but the 997 RS GREEN was special and now it's not special if they offer it again"
If we include what traditionally would be the most popular PTS colors, would that satisfy enough people?
