Default 991.2 GT3 - Who is getting a manual? Who is getting a PDK?

So I've locked down the #1 spot on the list at my dealership, configured to my spec when I order it, MSRP, all of this is in writing. Great news, awesome. Of course I will try to get PTS, euro delivery ect. But the question of manual vs. PDK is driving me nuts.

The PDK in my current GT3 is so damn good and makes so much sense but the manual is more fun on the street and I think it may be the last manual w/NA GT3 ever produced so the car will hold value.

I'm just curious as to what everyone else is thinking about doing? Why?

(I realize this is purely speculation, but half the fun of buying these things is the speculation and anticipation)

I voted manual, but I'm changing my mind all of the time on this. It's much tougher than I thought it would be to give up the PDK given the choice.

Configured to your spec? I'm second on my list and torn as well. I'm leaning manual and PTS. May not get another chance to spec a NA motor in manual and PTS as you stated..

Manual, but only if it has full RS mechanicals and lightweight goodies plus a wing delete.

Default How did you configure it already and have it in writing by dealer?

How did you configure it already and have it confirmed in writing by your dealership?
Can you please share your experience and approach with them on that?

Manual for me and definitely ED (best part of buying a new car, imo).

I apologize for the confusion. I meant that I can configure it anyway I would like once I order it.

I thought about this as I was writing this. The cleaning lady might be full of sh*t. But given the 911R tranny I'm putting my bets on that it will be offered with a manual.

The cleaning lady hasn't let me down yet. But that's what good 'ole memories of sweating sheets get you. Lol! Manual is coming. And it's the best transmission for this fast revving engine. If you get pdk, you'll just get bored after a year and trade it in for the next best think, with manual it will be a keeper! It will be a 911 R with a wing that gets driven and enjoyed instead of museum material. And speaking of the R,wait till the reviews come in : EPIC!

What's wrong with getting both?
