XPel Stealth Reco in LA or Bay Area
Where would you recommend for installing Xpel Stealth really well. A place that takes bumpers and lights off etc.? I can get it done in LA before I drive to SF or do it in the bay. Thoughts?
Thx!

In LA
I've used Protective Film Solutions: http://protectivefilmsolutions.com/
They've done my last three cars - two RS' for and a GT350R. GMG uses them for all their client cars and their in-house race cars. Yes, they completely dismantle the car. And, having done so many RS', they know how to put them back together when they're done!
Lots of good info/pics on their IG too.
Ryan is the owner: 949-599-5964
Good luck to you and congrats on the RS!

If you are in the bay area, go to Premier for sure. ( http://www.premiermobilegroup.com/ )
They are one of the best in the business. This would be your best bet to save on cost of shipping the car as well as traveling and killing time. These guys work on so many exotics, their work speaks for themselves. They wrapped my car before when they were doing their tours back 6-7 years ago.
If you are going to LA, go to look for Kris Ong from CFT Films, he use to be the Premier installers when the OC location was open. Kris does all the installs for Singer Porsches so that speaks very loud of his work. I have had experience with his work as well, top notch!
In SD if you are willing to come down, I recommend going to Adonis with Tim (another board sponsor on here), he has been trained by Xpel themselves and does pretty stellar work. He actually did my car recently and I am very happy with his work.

I was going to comment with a list of local installers but everyone here has mentioned a good chunk of them, Protective Film Solutions and Auto Armour Inc, both do great work.

A little something like this...?
I did headers in addition to the center section and it makes an amazing difference. If you're ever in So Cal, happy to give you a demo

Xpel Stealth
FYI,
I have Expel Stealth on my RS and tracked it last weekend and got a bunch of black rubber marks on the car. I took it back to the dealer who installed it directly after tracking and he cleaned it all off with Isopropyl alcohol, but there are some light stains that will not come off. Considering a lot of people put Expel on to protect their cars from track stuff, I was a bit disappointed that the rubber marks appear to permanently stain the Expel.
I am happy to hear from those who have figured out how to remove these stains, or from Xpel on what can be done.
