Flame suit = ON (for what I'm about to say and for being a couple of days late in saying it)

I like the good natured banter here but this comment is a head scratcher.

Let's see, if I drive a TT or GTS or normal 911 (and I've owned them all), I don't get:

The RS engine
The RS suspension
The RS tuned steering
The PDK tuned for GT3/RS
The RS body panels
At least in the US, the sport bucket seats

And if I drive near street legal speed limits, the wing doesn't matter.

I think the "R" demonstrates that there are enough of us who like the wingless look with the kind of feel you can only get from Porsche in a GT3/RS. One of the many ways the GT3RS is better to me than the GT3 is, I can take the wing off and use it as a street car. Some of the folks on here seem to agree.

The GT3 RS without a wing is like a pretty woman with a flat ***. A damn shame.

Reading my mind...partly. How about someone comes up with a nice ducktail for the RS? I would really consider getting one if it would be offered..

+1 I think it is a great idea. You will still have plenty of grip for public roads!

Is this a serious discussion? Guess thats why the R is so "meh" to me.

Priceless and spot on.

If your name is Adrian Newey, I say go for it. Anyone else, proceed with caution.

I get you. You want all the RS goodies without the wing. Sounds like a plan to me. Also with the R diffuser you could make up some downforce without the wing.

I think you need to put a GT3 or even an R front lip along with the removed wing to make to neutralize the RS at speeds above 100mph in case you got there. Otherwise i would think you would have an oversteer problem with all that front downforce and nothing in the back.
