I think your 0-62mph time is a bit too optimistic for RWD...

Would love to see Ring time starting with a "6" - probably possible...

600 units; few of us will get one/afford one
(this car must be as fast or faster than the 675LT and whatever the 488 Speciale will be called for this money, or else don't even roll it out in 2017)

carry on
Imo, GT2 RS goes main stream, i.e. 2k+ units this time. 4.2L GT3 RS will be the limited car as well as probably a 4.2L 911R. These will be the last non-FI/Hybrid 911s...

You think there is a market for over 2,000 turbocharged 911's at $300k each? Porsche would love the hear that ($600MM, most of it profit)! Would be a step in the right direction fiscally after Diesel-gate...

$250k to $275k is probably base to me and I think the market is there - look at where the 3 RS is still trading.

You are overestimating the demand in China at least. There were enough 918 customers who ordered the car in China but due to deteriorating financial conditions decided not to take delivery, Porsche had to discount the cars in secret to motivate the sale. The only country that is doing some what well right now is America, and it doesn't seem like it will last very much longer.

Agree,

Gt2rs won't be limited. I can see 2000 units being sold WW. This car will be badass. $250k base price sounds about right.

I can't see them making another 911R.

4.2l NA RS "cup edition" will be the limited edition 991 car.

I'm really curious about both these models. Hopefully the speculation has slowed down before they are being released.

Not Frankfurt in 2016 since no Frankfurt Auto Show (passenger car) in 2016

Paris and Frankfurt alternate each year (Paris on even years, Frankfurt odd years.)
