I bailed on my RS order as well, in favor of a second GT3. Now I'll have one for the street, and one for the track. The track car gets special paint treatment, Sharkwerks, and a bunch of goodies which are paid for by the savings over the RS! I'm super excited and having a blast customizing my new (2nd) GT3!!

991 GT3

You did the right thing. We always want what we don't have. Especially with P GT cars. The 991 GT3 rocks! The RS a bit more power but not justifiable due to price. I had a 997 4.0. Loved it but honestly didn't do it for me like the 991 GT3. The value was the most intriguing part considering I mostly just looked at it. Life's too short. And that's no guarantee. Wreck or major engine probs etc pop up then value plummets. Enjoy in good health. And yes I'd like a 991 RS. Not worth the money over the GT3. I'll always want the newest GT Car. But right now I love the hell out of my 991 3. Worry about next car later.

Just got my butt home from some spirited driving! Car preformed flawlessly. Trans shifts alot harder then I expected under heavy load. So hard that I would think it would be tuff on "hard parts" in the trans. Hey I ain't complaining, Porsche obviously has beefy parts in their boxes.
So without a doubt my favorite part, so far, is the 9000 rpm of our naturally aspirated lovelyness!
One request I have is some more dB from the exhaust system.
