So they told you 68 was fine?

I'm no mechanic but 5 Bar is like 73 PSI so it seems that under max throttle a number in the 70s would be okay.

For sure if I was the OP I'd look in to that although I'm sure he has by now (or not).

The old rule of thump used to be 10 PSI per 1000 rpm.

I hit high 60's low 70's at the track at higher rpm's all the time.

Had another guy at COTA ask me what my pressures were, because he was seeing similar readings under same conditions, and was a little freaked out by them.

They said it was OK - I checked the oil before saying anything and it was full - but not over filled. I thought it better to check with the master mechanic - cost of a call for peace of mind
