DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHERE THE SOUND DEADENING MATERIAL IS LOCATED IN A 991GT3RS? PORSCHE HAS APPARENTLY REMOVED IT FROM THE 911R. APPARENTLY WORTH 4.5KG

Why wouldn't these two cars have equal sound deadening? I, like others, read in a press release that the R has 4.5 less KG of sound proofing than the RS... the wording of what I originally read almost made it sound like they were giving the 991 blueprints another once-over and they just stumbled upon further excess deadening that could be deleted. Entertaining, but can't be true.
If there was a way to remove the sound proofing from the RS in a clean manner, I would be all over that.
