Can you still order PTS GT2 RS's? That is something I would pay for.

Has anyone had xpel put on their headlamps? Mine came out of a full wrap without headlamps and a note that xpel says install at your own risk as there have been delamination issues. Seems worth the risk because without it the lens will get beat, but wanted to see if anyone else ran into this.

I have on my .1RS - Have not removed it so I don't know if it is an issue or not. I took my chance: Thought the headlamps would be destroyed without it... (I drive mostly off-track )

I also have it on my .1 3RS, but it wasn't flagged as an issue then.

I think I'm just going to do it.

I had Suntek Ultra placed over the headlights on my 991.2 3RS and I opted not to have it done on the 2RS. The reason is they tried to position the PPF on the headlight and had to move it during installation and there were a few small areas that where delaminated. Again these were minor defects but it always bugged me so I did not have it done on the 2RS.

I have a question for all the 2RS owners, that is, any ETA yet on the carbon fiber bits for the steering wheel?

Good question, my original impression was that we would get a second steering wheel but my SA indicated there would carbon fiber parts retrofitted on the existing steering wheel. Though, to be frank I am not 100% sure my SA is correct based upon past experience.

Touched base with my dealer last week about the carbon fiber steering wheel. Still on back order, no definitive date about when it will arrive.

I think all 991 GT2RS owners took delivery with the plastic steering wheel with carbon fiber paddles. We are getting the carbon fiber steering wheel hopefully soon and will have to surrender the plastic one we currently have.

Drive safe,

Highly doubt we would get a new steering wheel.. Think it's just a cover piece that needs to be removed
