Just put another 100 miles on my 2RS today and the sweet sound & power is intoxicating. Allot of bad weather in TX of late but trying to get to the 2K break-in post haste.

Yup, by ‘sounds much better’ I meant I don’t get that weird dead spot any more tween 1500 and 3000 rpm.

From Piston Heads. Pretty fair summary.

I’m not sure how exactly it was done tbh. I took it to my local race shop. I know they couldn’t do it from underneath with the car on the lift. Then they were going to remove the cf engine cover to do it but you also have to take off the bumper. In the end they got through a hole in the engine cover with a long scissor/tongue thingie to do it. If you’re really interested I can reach out to them tomorrow and ask them how they did it.

No they didn’t cut anything. They disconnected something and capped it. It was just easier to get to it through the holes in the engine cover.

I’ll ask them and let you know.

GT3 RS is certainly not slow but it doesn’t feel so fast after stepping out of a GT2 RS.

In the video above (or below) the reviewer states "every now and again one comes along that is so damn fast"...................

No doubt each are special cars in their own way. I'm in the corner of impartiality as I'm fortunate to be one of those "many buyers who have both"..
