Default One Year Service 2019 RS

Question, I recall reading the one year service is free this go around? Was I drinking when I read that in the manual?

Yep free. My dealer told me I have a 2 month +/- window around my delivery date to bring it in. Delivered 3/1 so I could bring it in as early as Jan 1st or as late as May 1st.

I’m coming up on 1 year since delivery. I’ve got 1725 miles and changed the oil myself at 1000 miles. Do I need a 1 year service or wait for a few thousand miles?

no it’s 1 year or miles which ever comes first so you will go in because of the 1 Year.

How hard were those 725 miles? It was an oil change for me... ~2700 miles and 1 year of use.

By the way, I was told for the GT2RS it was something like a 4 hour service because a ton of things had to be changed.

The service intervals are one way that Porsche gets you if you do prepaid service like my last 991.2 Turbo S. Its by time or mileage. And it’s use it or lose it. I was having the 20k service (2 year interval) done on the car with 3k miles and the plugs swapped then as well. Silly.
