FOS is amazing. Left Lemans with kiddos and went straight there last year. Beyond the best event I've ever attended......besides maybe Rennsport last year......or Monaco F1 on boat.

Me to myself "Waxer you were right, thanks"

Myself to me "yes your welcome"

mid engine 911 is coming. RSR sure looks like 911 to me.

A 991 Speedster would be fun.

Perhaps it will be a GTS with R inspired interior. A retro classic.
Either way, the GT2 will be the star of the show.

Maybe Porsche lets the cayman shine with a full flow 4.0l gt4rs?

I have no idea about speedster just because I have no interest. Only gathering info about the cars that I like.
Gt2rs will be amazing. Personally wouldn't want MT in gt2rs.
And to be honest, wouldn't do MT in gt4rs either.
And like Whoopsy, can't burn the person that feed you information.
I always enjoy coming here to see the enthusiasm shared between us.

Edit,

Hoping for a big weekend for Porsche at Sebring.

Sport classic building off of the R success? Seems palatable to have an LE ducktail 991. It would be gobbled up.

I am awaiting an unleashed RS of sorts... And that includes a mid-engine hardcore RSResque special (think speciale/scuderia interior appointments) and a 4.0 GT4RS. No plaque please. I want an opportunity to purchase.

991 Speedster will be a chop-top 911 R.

So much in the pipeline. Personally been focusing on the gt2rs. Never owned one and just something about the chassi of the 991 and the PDK that is interesting.

Preferred the 997.4.0 over 997gt2rs when I had a chance to drive the gt2rs.
Mainly because of the quick build in revs and MT.

I have heard about a limited mid engine GT car coming. Was pretty sure they where talking about a gt4rs with the 4.0l

But, Whoopsy knows his stuff. So maybe possible to do a 500 car run of a mid engine 991rs.

Just seemed to go over the river for water when they already have the mid engine gt4 and hopefully shoehorn the 4.0l engine into it. Put some huge fenders on it and like Nizer said. Stripped out interior like Ferrari scuderia.

I would prefer the the gt4rs over a car looking like the rsr that I saw at Amelia last week.

I'm not so sure the 911 will be going mid engine...they did it in IMSA to stay competitive and are far from having it fully engineered...it needs more time.

With all the special editions (thanks VW!) I could see them coming up down the line with a street legal 911RSR "mid engine" and the usual 911 lineup staying in tact.

Thanks for posting!

Good he said it straight out: "not a decided project, don't expect a GT4 RS 2018"
