Just a heads up, I got a call from my SA regarding the CF steering wheel and he indicated he was required to fill out "paperwork" for the request, and was going about doing that today. Each of you may want to call your SA and get them on the CF part(s) request.

Think the same applies to the Magnesium wheels.

Some very smart people have have been making some printed mock-ups for new intercoolers for my car. Checking fit, before now moving to the finished product with aerospace-grade cores. Road testing to follow, and hopefully will lower temps enough to give a little more power all the time, and more importantly reduce/remove the need for water spray.

After having my car to study for a few months, they say that the quality of the 2RS is incredible, with top quality materials everywhere, and there are very small margins to improve.

Probably over the top, but what else was I going to do over the winter....

As amazing do88 is, I can't imagine they will surpass the stock IC that is a bloody brilliant design and cores. Going catless and wrapped exhaust might help iats and usage of the water.
Idk, what I do know is that your car and you are legendary for this.

P.S. Will you do full Manthey kit?
P.P.S. If you are messing with the ecu, Esmre has to be on your list. Man is a magician of smooth delivery and power.

I have the full Manthey suspension already, (and brake upgrade, as well as extended water tank...) so will probably add the aero stuff to make it full MR spec.. Still have to negotiate the price though!
Also haven’t tried the CupR either, and that seems like a must, but short-lived.

as you say, cores are a work-in-progress, but we do expect some efficiency gains, and will be doing back to back tests with final prototypes soon.

While it might be true mechanically, I’ve no doubt Mr Linton could find a wealth of opportunities in terms of weight reduction....

Just a reminder on the IC, in UK you have CTR developments that offer a 'much' better IC than do88 does for the 997. I don't know if it's their core or marston (?) Or Secan but's it's better. Maybe worth a look?

CTR use Marston cells and they are very close to Secan in performance, maybe do88 will use the same cells

I received my 2RS on the 25th of January and the only thing I have received to date is a "pen & book set". Meh.....this makes three pen and book sets over the past year and a half. I hope Porsche is not going to cheap out on me.

All I got after paying my 991 GT2RS was a big smile and congratulatory handshake from my dealership.

Drive safe,
