If you haven't seen Sean's GT2RS yet, it's worth a look for sure. His 991.2 GT2RS with a set of HRE R101 Lightweights in Satin Black!

20x9.5 Fronts (which weigh 18.40lbs) with 265/30/20 tires
21x12.5 Rears (which weigh 23.50lbs) with 325/30/21 tires



















What do you guys think of Sean's wheel choice?

my car has gone off for some secret squirrel winter development. May come back with a better solution to distilled water tank...will update here if so.

The combination of colors looks amazing.
I am curious about your comment regarding the ride quality being relatively comfortable. can you pls expand a little on that?
In the videos on YouTube, I was left with the impression that the ride is on the firmer side.
i have the 991.2 gt3 to compare with.
i am particularly interested to know as I might be in a position to get one.

Welp, my car originally had a Dec 21st delivery but that didn't happen.
In fact it's been stuck in CXX since early November for whatever reason without indication as to why or when it will be delivered.
Anyone with any hookups at the factory to find out what the hold up is with my car?
You'd make this old man's xmas.

Hmet- I had watched a good bit of video on the car as well, and expected the car to feel more rigid and with a poorer ride quality than it actually does. The low end power is intoxicating and the sound (although definitely contrived) is much better than I expected. Most people wouldn't daily drive this car, but I feel like the ride quality (even on poor condition LA roads) is quite good. As a point of reference, I had driven a 997 GT2RS that felt all race car and fairly rigid. I think the engineers tried hard to make a car that has an incredibly high limit, and can still be enjoyed thoroughly when you are nowhere near that limit.

I think it is a very tough task to engineer a car that has the power and performance capabilities that these cars have and still be FUN to drive at legal or semi legal speeds. If you have a chance to get one....you should!

Do you have crazy CXX requests? If not, then it might just be sitting there waiting for parts. Mine was stuck in CXX for a month waiting for seat belt cover in alcantara.

Looking forward to some updates on this. Seems like do88 do some great work and a set of aerospace quality I/C's for the 2RS would be brilliant
