He said: "Now I'm controlling the car, not the car controlling me."

He also said that the car behaved bad on Döttinge Höhe and that the suspension upgrade to KW solved that.

The tires adds grip: better turn in and faith in car.

He said that it is like driving on slicks. (He should know since he is a Cip driver)

I have the KW, and sounds like I’ll have to increase the tire budget...

I hope he is staying here at the Ring for the upcoming track days : see if we can find out how the tire life is.

I didn’t have lift, so not a problem!

2RS upgrade is with 3-way adjustable competition coil overs. Pre-set to optimism for road and track. They work brilliantly - much better control of weight transfer, better damping whole car more coherent. Still comfortable on the road. The only downside is some squeaking, but you barely notice it, and it doesn’t matter in such a noisy car, IMO.

michael Grassl is the Manthey guy who is the KW expert,

http://www.speedhunters.com/2016/10/...our-questions/

Seems to me that the 2RS was developed round the grip of the CupR and they are gamechangers for the handling/experience. Pity it’s taken so long (and they’re so expensive!)

a happy customer from the UK. (topaz owner)

This is the special car being built off the 2RS?

https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/products/porsche-935-world-premiere-exclusive-new-edition-clubsport-race-car-motorsport-rennsport-reunion-vi-anniversary-70-years-sports-cars-16163.html

My emotions are so mixed! Want, but can't afford unless I clean out my garage. Not even sure what to do with it if I had it. If I'm going to racecar, then I've already got the Wolf, which will likely destroy this car. But I still want. Friggin Porsche is terrorizing me!
