It does make a lot more sense to drive to the direction you´re indicating to. Just like you do on a public road.
Organisers learned from that: They´re telling any foreign participants how to behave now. And sometimes that doesen´t even help.

You guys have some seriously stupid rules over there... (Like windows down or point by´s etc.)

Not really if one attend driver's meeting and paid attention to the passing rules, especially the indicator part.

+1. This and the record laps by Estre are the highlights of this thread.
Very much enjoyed the ride alongs, albeit only via YouTube.

Yeah, this isn’t rocket science. I prefer the European way.
Use indicators as intended by the designers of the tools we use. How crazy.
But either way is fine, it’s the arm out the window and over the roof mandatory system that is completely idiotic and dangerous yet if one dares to ask why in a drivers meeting there’s always an old relic that will sneer at you because he’s going to pull me out of a burning car nonsense. Leaving windows open is equivalent to driving without seat belts so you can get out if you drive into a canal.

From the description of the video:

"Here is my coach at the wheel of my GT2 RS with me as a passenger....so two heavy boys inside the car :-))

This lap was very scary because the rear tire was at 2.8bar!! The car slipped a lot and movement of the chassis was bad on bump, we did not see that at the tpms display because the indication was off.

My coach Daniel Schwerfeld at the wheel, a crazy ****ing good driver, thanks my friend :-)

If the tire pressure was ok, no problem for a sub 7 lap with passenger!!! CRAZY"

I agree with Seb: Daniel is a great coach.

You can keep the red interior but chalk is looking mighty nice.

This car is advertised as for sale on Facebook if anyone cares. No idea on price.

Yep, I'd rather blink my intentions in Morse code than have windows open at over 150MPH

700hp is proving hard to handle for more than a few folks...
