Yup, I just know that there are a lot of folks that aren't sure if there was a chance that Porsche might allow the combination at a later date, and it appears that they won't.

Normally I would take it as good news that my order with both options hasn't been kicked off the system yet under the assumption that if it was going to be I would have already heard about it ... but I know better than to get comfy with these things when it comes to the P mothership.

Anyhow, I hope posting that memo is helpful to some.

Supplier problem with WP Titanium cages is going to cause delays on future cars, probably multiple weeks.
I guess it will be back on track after summer shutdown so maybe won't affect US as much, but many UK/Euro delivery dates are not certain now.

My car production is next week and I just realized now that I choose the car with the standard interior (that was my choice because I wanted red alcantara, roof seat etc) But I seen that with this standard interior all the part where is the chrono and fender is in plastic!!
What a stupid guy I am :-( The selection I needed to do was fully leather interior with red color to get the leather and red stitch
WTF

first drive you will not mind.
simplify, then add lightness.

otherwise:

but imagine how much you would love the leather - if waiting for it "just" another 2 month.
March April in your case. This would be an easy wait...

your wife, kids, workmates, dog would kill you after 2 days of spring, dry roads and sunshine.

I love the standard interior. The ring record cars had it (so probably ligher also they had no sport chrono). The dash top, door tops, and lower dash in plastic or whatever is indestructible and it is not cheap looking.

Good thing PORSCHE really thought about the parts that can easily be damaged and replaced cheap.

Suncoast have the Exclusive Series side skirt carbon Fiber replacement (paintable at $4,950.00)

I have seen many replace the front plastic lip on GT3 and GT3 RS with carbon fiber ones ,,,,only to end up going back to plastic after damaging the CF lip in a very short time,,,,CF is very pricey as we know and they get damaged relatively easy ,,the original plastic part is only a few hundred dollars and an easy DIY to change ...

Exactly why Porsche used cheap unpainted rubber plastic for the front lip.

It's a consumable, like a wiper blade.
