Previously it has not been possible. The reinforcements for the original roll bar is not welded in place. Besides that it is difficult for a US person to source a OEM roll bar.

Starting to hear it's PTS only available with NON WEISSACH...one or the other...then I heard that all Weisach is closed...anyone know whats up???? Going to spec my car tomorrow and need to figure this out. HELP!

I just can't live with a ricer black hood. Unreal

U just know they will change it later on to move more cars.

I saw PTS with WP build in the system 2 days ago for a VIP owner, maybe it was only for VIP's...

This car I know is being built is a Riviera blue, blue piping on seats and defiantly had WP...... June or July build

From what I gather this has been the case for a while. There’s some issue about combing pts paint with the carbon fiber elements and Porsche exclusive is currently trying to push it through. That’s why all existing pts orders are on hold until this gets sorted out. Didn’t the same issue come up with the R?

I think it is absolutely possible to retrofit the OEM rollbar. The problem is actually sourcing the OEM rollbar from PAG. From prior history with the 991.1 GT3/RS, it has not been possible to buy the OEM rollbar as a standalone item.
