I had my dealer put in a build request, however I doubt I will get one despite the insane number of Porsches (including GT cars) that I have ordered over the years.

I didn't put in the WP on my request- -seems like an insane amount for what it includes. I'd rather buy my wife a used Boxster to tool around in for the same price. Plus, if you bend a wheel (crappy Midwest roads, it happens) its too much to replace. $45k for similar wheel set on 918. Ouch!

we have to pay VaT in U.K. and can't reclaim if a private buyer, so 20% on top, but i take your point.

There are Rennlist sponsors who sell the Mag wheels from BBS for less than half that price (think they're same). And new Carbon Porsche wheels will eventually be available for even less than that (and may be better too?)

I've searched here at on Google but haven't found anymore info on the frunk lid brake cooling? Has there been more technical information released yet? Any graphics or technical walkthroughs? I'd just like to read more on it.
