I had my dealer put in a build request, however I doubt I will get one despite the insane number of Porsches (including GT cars) that I have ordered over the years.

I didn't put in the WP on my request- -seems like an insane amount for what it includes. I'd rather buy my wife a used Boxster to tool around in for the same price. Plus, if you bend a wheel (crappy Midwest roads, it happens) its too much to replace. $45k for similar wheel set on 918. Ouch!

we have to pay VaT in U.K. and can't reclaim if a private buyer, so 20% on top, but i take your point.

of course you do. but that doesn't go to Porsche. they're netting way more out of the WP package in US vs UK. but i know you get it.

What do you mean exactly Kobalt / CJ?

That the press got already the hands on it but are blocked to publish until IAA?
IAA will be already the 3rd official presentation of the GT2 RS...

Bmw - who cares; too heavy, terrible sound, numb feel, uninspired styling. and I'm a BMW fan....
Porsche - Speedster and...
Mclaren - something with a lot of carbon fiber and a big price tag

I'm just guessing that they time it to IAA.

Hoping for some news on 991.2 RS too. Just hoping. Nothing more.

I've searched here at on Google but haven't found anymore info on the frunk lid brake cooling? Has there been more technical information released yet? Any graphics or technical walkthroughs? I'd just like to read more on it.
