Their business model has already started to dry up. In my geo at least I can pretty much get any car I want. The buy/flip game is coming to an end here and prices for secondhand has dropped quite a bit. No more premiums. At least Porsche/Ferrari/Lambo hold up quite well. Mclaren on the other hand - WOW talk about free-fall.

Government should also be careful what they wish for. Tax revenue once autonomous/EV really kicks will dry up very quickly. Obviously they will f*ck us in other ways.

That front end is getting really tough to love the more I see it. Function over form, but ugh. boring.

Why the show car looks so much better?

Not a fan of the bland front end at all.

So you are saying an RS looks like an RS? Who would have thought?

I think it will look "move over" when I see it in my rear view mirror

Don't get me wrong, my dealer still put in a request for me to get one, but it looks like 2 squares connected by a rectangle. I know that I will never get one, so I can be hyper-critical to make myself feel better.

After the ownership of multiple P cars over many years and being the first to put a deposit on a 911R, I terminated my relationship with Pfaff after not getting the car. Their attitude was on the "so what" level.

Too many other nice cars available to be stuck on Porsche. Doing quite well with the Balboni and now the Huracan.

I believe Pfaff's hands are tied on the 911R situation, just like the Turbo S Exclusive Series now which only 6 is coming to Canada.

All 26 allocations came from Porsche Canada direct, as they individually ask each 918 owner do they want a car and if the answer is yes the allocation is assigned to that individual and then the selling dealer.

Their story was that they received an allocation of 5 Rs. All went to 918 owners and I would have been next.

Exactly what I have said.

No dealer in Canada has any 'normal' allocation to customers outside of 918 owners.

2 918 owner in my dealership don't even get a chance to buy a 911R, they got 3 of those and went to the first 3 918 buyers.

So what is the point of the GT cars? Non 918 owners can never get one so they may as well not exist for us lowly multiple P car owners.
