That's some serious coin for a GT3RS with a couple of turbos
$50k per turbo?? Them's must be fancy turbos

Now the really funny part will be seeing dealers trying to charge ADM on it... $400k GT2 anyone?
What a joke.. all of it

And the price is a bargain. These will trade for 100k over at least. Just take a look at used 997GT2 prices.

100k over GT3RS i don't see either.
but thats it is more expansive than a 720s. y not? i guess same performance (also without carbon chassis). less depreciation.
Porsche knows that they are now on top. not as usual with the performance. also in terms of pricing and hype.
991.2 GT3 RS will be also min. +10 till +15% compared to .1
as GT3.

Performante and 720s are both more compelling at $295... @ $330k with weissach you get a fully loaded 720s and it's no contest... by the time you add any options to the GT2 there is simply no reason to spend that much on a 6 cyl turbo car without a carbon tub. It just doesn't make sense to me at its price... should have come In at $230-$240 MSRP max... it's AT LEAST $50k overpriced, $80k overpriced with weissach. Porsche has lost the plot.

For reference:

And the stats on paper is just as fast or faster than a 720s, and you know Porsche is conservative. So the market for the GT2RS is you want a 700hp track car because the 500hp GT3 RS is not fast enough. The GT3RS when it first came out was selling at 400k...so I assume people will buy them at 400K. Look at the prices of 997 GT2RS at 500K.
Everything on the GT2 RS is exotic except the name and style. In conclusion, your not getting the 911 charm.

If true, this is interesting (such a small weight savings). But I think the benefits of a carbon tub are supposed to extent well beyond the pure weight savings. I think the stiffness is way higher than metal (allowing for improved handling).
