I know it's the angle and lighting but this pic makes it look like it's sitting pretty high off the ground.
I can't wait to see official pics of this beast in actions, especially in a different color. Congrats to the lucky ones getting allocation.

Sort of a built in front canard dealeo with venting right behind it. Wonder if its tied into the hood ducts somehow?
Also remember seeing tape over the fender vents with the car in desert and it appeared higher than 1RS. These carbon vents are defiantly higher.
One pic of the driver headrest looked like cursive script-cant make it out. Maybe its just blurred for a reason.

The hood ducts redirect air to the brakes, they are brake coolers.

Someone said similar downforce to the GT3 RS. Doesn't look like it to me- looks like a bunch more. Peak downforce maybe isn't greater- if they're smart they're dumping it with the adjustable rear diffuser at speed (they probably needed to prevent suspension compression at ~210 mph). I'll bet heavily it makes a bunch more downforce everywhere else though. Rockers, splitter, etc...
There will be more downforce at every speed, that I can bet you.

When there are more and bigger 'spoilers', peak downforce will always be bigger, plus there are more and bigger air extractors, mainly the bumper extractors from the radiator and the ones on the back, plus the diffuser and the rear bumper extractors that are noticeably bigger.

The air exits just in front of the front wheel well should help reduce that high pressure area and improve front downforce, but that would also be easy to stall.
If they don't cut downforce the GT3 RS aero package would be making 1000 lbs of downforce at 211 mph. The GT2 RS would probably be more like ~1300 lbs with the more aggressive elements seen here. That in turn would require heavier, lower performance tires with a higher load-rating, higher rate suspension springs to maintain ride-height, etc. Technically they would be much better off limiting downforce from ~150 mph up, as it would allow them to significantly improve performance at both low and high speeds.
To what extent they have gone that direction remains to be seen, but technically it probably makes sense to accept the extra complexity given the forces they are dealing with.

don't get me wrong - but for me this was a poor launch.
viewing angles, exposure, stage, generally the pictures... it would have deserved a better one.
further on: i would have prevered a new color combo and more aggressive looks.
somehow i feel to prefer the look of the .1 GT3RS.
lets wait for more pics and technical stuff.
