Default Houston RL Meet/Greet -- 3/13?

Thoughts on a Houston area meet/greet this Sunday for lunch? The weather looks like it will be out of here by then and it would be nice to put a face with a name/RL handle.

I am open to locations (both in The Woodlands or Houston), but the first place that comes to mind is the Black Walnut Cafe on the third floor of the Galaxy FBO in Conroe. One can grab a quick bite and/or a beer while watching the private aircraft come in and out. Should enough of us care to gather, I can inquire about reservations and start a google doc. How does 11:30-12 Sound?

Thoughts/Suggestions?

I will be extending the invite to our 997 brethren as well!

Grant

It's a good idea and I'd love to come except spring break starts on Saturday and we'll be out of town. Have fun!

I am game for a meet up. How many Houston vs Woodland members are interested?

Would like to join, but will not be in town this weekend. Perhaps the next weekend or after, although Conroe would be quite a hike from my home.

I completely forgot about spring break as my daughter turns 1 on St. Patrick's Day. If this weekend doesn't gain traction I am not opposed to trying to schedule something with a bit more lead time.

I know Conroe is a hike... Living in The Woodlands and officing downtown I guess I have become numb. City Centre or something in the Rice Military or galleria area does not deter me. I welcome the miles

Maybe I should have made this a feeler thread to gather ideas and plan from there.......

I'd love to, but its the start of spring break weekend. In my line of work, its one of the busiest weekends of the year, and there's no way I could peel away from the business.

I'd like to meet, preferably around Houston rather than Conroe.

Default Porsche meet

I am in town this weekend and able to attend wherever. Conroe Airport great place, my usual lunch hang out (my office round the corner)

Might be a drive for the guys from Houston...how about Black Walnut Café in the Woodlands?

If something closer to Houston no problem for me, need to drive my car more anyway.

Hope it works out this weekend since I will be gone for most of April.

I would always be up for a meet and a drive. Have several p car gt3 friends also who would Come. might be good this weekend but have to see. Both kids on spring break from college. Post a place and time and will respond on Friday. If not this time. Another for sure. Houston or north is good for me

As far as a more palatable meeting spot for Sunday, thoughts on Porschemeister's suggestion of Black Walnut Cafe on Research in The Woodlands? Plenty of parking there. 11 AM would help beat the late church crowd.

That more than works for me.
