Single post garage lift
Not to detract from the awesome garage lift thread but I’m looking for specific input and pictures of single post lifts. I recall a member here from Houston I believe that has a really nice set up but I can’t find it as the lift thread has gotten so long. I’m potentially adding an attached garage to my existing house and the architect has a window that highlights the cars on a single post lift. I’ve attached the view I would see from my main house. Specifically I’m looking for a single post lift I can drive the lifted car onto that has a platform to drive on as opposed to lifting pucks I need to line up under the car. Any advice and or pictures would be very much appreciated.

Looks super nice. I called, was 10K or so I thought. Was a bit higher than I wanted to spend but I thought it looked really nice

American Custom Lifts is who makes the popular single post lift. I had a garage addition drawn up for my house, with two of those lifts in mind, recessed base in the slab, etc. I spoke at length with the company, they were fantastic to deal with. Ultimately, we decided to move instead of build. No storage lifts needed at the new house.
There are some helpful posts in the the general garage thread, as well as the lifts thread. I believe there are even a few stand alone threads like this one the topic. A Google assisted Rennlist search always helps with finding exact posts.

Thanks, my excitement overcame the thought to do a search. My apologies. For reference I’ll no longer need the 4 post as in my picture as it stresses me out. The excitement of the thought of seeing the two red cars from inside my home got to me.

Oh John... the warehouse was full the day I took the cars out of your warehouse and put them into mine. This is a terribly inefficient hobby. Watches are so much easier to deal with.
