Oops....you're right Matthew, thanks. That's what happens when you round 1 mile to 1.6KM instead of 1.60934. 3000KM equals 1865 miles not 1875....well actually 1864.11820994.

Good point Peter. When you live in a place where 100 kmph is the maximum and strictly policed Europe seems quick (I went everywhere at 130 kmph and in Italy you seem OK until 150 (mind you their autostradas are expensive).

Completely agree with you, i have a spanish owners manual and that it's all they recommend, im in the break in period right now, and im avoiding passing 5500-6000 rpm's, as im planning to keep the 991 RS for good...
I havent burn any oil, neither have to top off-adding oil to the 3 green mark already, seems im doing a good work with the break in, in my 2014 991 Gt3 i had to top off more frecuently than the RS, even though at the dealership they told me the RS burns more oil than normally... Lets see what happens.
Drive safe...!!!

Here's a video where everything that has been discussed previously is nicely summarized and easy to understand. For those getting new cars that are wondering what to do :

Yes, a very good article. Even with my current cars, I always do a nice slow drive in my sub until the temps/pressures are at an acceptable level.
