For sure, Porsche is Smoking Crack and Methamphetamine if they think they can sell the Car at an MSRP for $270K. Don't care if it's unrightfully going to be a limited edition car. There is no added value over an RS unless they offer all options for free including buckets and cages. And at that they are pushing it. And the buttholes at the dealerships putting anywhere from $100K to $300K on top of that just so you can have people say "CONGRATULATIONS" on the purchase of your car, which is completely asinine in it's very nature.

Being a regular model is the polar opposite of rumors, but it would be bold to make such a prediction without anything to substantiate it when the truth will be out in just a couple weeks.

Regarding the narrow-body, it clearly isn't in the photos, but could explain the narrow offset of the wheels, and would reduce some weight...

from the article:

It will most likely have skinnier, less grippy tyres and a chassis set-up dedicated less to generating grip and more towards providing a friendly on-limit balance.

i cant wait for all the RL threads trying to get bigger tires, aero and other GT/RS mods on the car.......

Car seems to suck. Haven't seen the hype with this car since the beginning. I'd take an RS way before this as well as just my basic 991 GT3.

This thing has the GT3 rear bumper correct? Having a hard time seeing with the black. So obviously not a narrow body if so.

The price is supposed to be around $160K. Only on the internet does one person mention something crazy like it's going to be $270K and it gets picked up on.

I'm not sure what that has to do with it .
I have a Porscge or two in mine and am still extremely excited .

I am excited even though I don't have a chance at one. But I am positive this car is more than " the eyes can see " at the moment.
It's is , you are correct

Suck or different? It will be the fastest manual 911 of the 991 chassis. It will be the fastest manual Porsche available. Why is that a bad thing to offer variety to customers?

You can add an after market wing for very little cost if you want more downforce.

I'm not excited about the R either. I passed on my allocation. Neither the less I'm curious of the final product. Can't wait for Geneva so we can see and hear all about it.
And it will tell us a lot about the future gen 991gt3/RS.

I like big wings and not so good interiors. 😉😉
