The rear wheels/tires do not fill out the wheelwell for some reason. That part does not look right to me.

I can see the aftermarket busily planning a new engine under tray with integrated "diffuser elements" for sake to gT3 & RS owners as we speak lol!

But in reality I understand the effect should be minimal as with a low COG flat 6 engine there is little space and height under there to design something with the correct length and depth "strikes" to do the job, unlike contemporary Ferrari and other mid engine designs. Running the strikes too low will be an issue for speed bump clearance surely.

I think what we have to remember is this car appears to have a retractable spoiler so in actual fact the ground effects only need to find 30-50kg to add to the rear spoiler (deployed) to make up some ground towards GT3 aero...

Winter wheel and tyre set has different offset, rim width and tyre width (smaller) than standard GT3. At this time of year not legal to test in Germany with summer tyre r comp

This article says around $160K. Not sure where the $270K came from? Sounds a bit insane and misinformation.

I like the current 991 GT3 much better. I do like that manual though - should of came with that option from the beginning.

Not sure why I am supposed to be much more excited about this car than a GT3. I doubt that Porsche would make this their most expensive 911 ever. $270k?

How some people can not get excited about possibly the last naturally aspirated Porsche that happens to be light weight and manual in this day and age leaves me agog frankly

I am equally agog that, with all of the Porsche enthusiasts in the world, they are (rumored to be) making so damned few of them. Not cool, IMO.

+1
Probably because we are on the GT3/RS forum and this car has no wings.
I am excited even though I don't have a chance at one. But I am positive this car is more than " the eyes can see " at the moment.

Interesting comments by Andrew Frankel in Autocar today.

Anyone know if there is any truth in this being a permanent addition to the 911 lineup?
