#59 Hot Laps

Brumos has a special program where if you buy a car there, you can participate in their 'Brumos Driving Experience'. It's great for first time Porsche owners who never get a chance to push themselves and their cars. Since Brumos was purchased by the Fields group, this is the last 'Brumos' event and it is unknown as to what the new owners will do.

At the end of the day, it was an honor to be taken around that track in the 2011 season winning car with Hurley at the wheel... AWESOME! The grip, the sequential gear box, the noise... the grip.

My favorite Porsche livery. Many fond memories of watching Brumos cars at the track, here's one from the Riverside 6 hour when I was in high school:

My understanding is that the dealers are being sold, but the name 'Brumos' and all the related items are not. So who knows what the future holds.

There's a special road track that was built by NHRA behind the track.

Since I mostly use my cars for DE's rather than daily drivers (maybe drive 50 miles per month on the public roads), I may pay homage to the Brumos name by using the same livery on my white 991 GT... Need to find all the decals.

Brumos the first P dealer in the country chapter coming to close , great to carry a livery forward and
onward , if you tire of it , just peel the vinyl off , quite a special experience to share , fun stuff!!

Thank you for the answer so no new information then . I read a recent interview with Hurley Haywood and he seemed to indicate that was it for the Brumos legend . Sad days

Very sad indeed, when you move away from the independence of small dealerships, I think you lose that individual relationship and then deal with the corporate one, like going from a dog breeder to a puppy mill. What will happen to the secret museum that Brumos has? I had always hoped to see it.

From what I've read, the museum was not part of the sale (some serious classic / historical cars). Would be a shame to put those cars where nobody could enjoy them. Don Leatherwood, who takes care of all the cars spent two hours walking myself and my dad through the museum a couple months ago. He told us so much about each of the cars, I was completely impressed with his knowledge.

wow, someday I'd like to see the museum there, Ive met Haywood three times, later I had him sign a picture of he and I, he seemed genuinely surprised that I would carry around a picture all day to get him to sign it, definitely an intense guy
