Eduardo, I respect the fact that you choose not to post the list. That being said, are you opposed to answering if specific colors are on that list if asked? i.e. Is Gelbgrun on the new list?

They could've gone 10K and everyone would've still " bend over ".

Eduardo, good info. Thanks for sharing. I've seen a number of your posts now, master of colour!
I'm sure I could wade through posts for this but it's likely buried at this point.
Anybody know what the PTS window was for the 991 GT3 from 2014-2016 MY.

My post was an attempt at sarcasm and cynicism because I don't know why Porsche opens up pts for its mainline models then closes it for GT cars. There is no GT car you can order right now, so here comes the pts. But then when the .2 gt cars come out the window will close. You watch...

My recollection of PTS windows on the .1 991 gt3...
here on Rennlist (which is dated 5/12/2015), it would likely be on any
subsequent list for that model (e.g. .2 991).
https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...91-gt3-rs.html
And I can confirm that 'Yellow Green / Gelbgrün', code 137 is still a go!
But that is not always the case. 'RS Orange', color code 8C6, was
introduced for the .1 gt3 RS in MY2007 & was used for Limited
Editions Boxsters/Caymans in subsequent years. It was also
allowed to be ordered as PTS in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Then it
was suddenly 'dropped' from the approved list.
So just because it was on the last published list we posted
doesn't necessarily guarantee 100% that it is also on the
current, latest list that we can not yet post here at Rennlist
but which is available to your dealer.

My recollection of PTS windows on the .1 991 gt3...
A) There was never a PTS window opened for the MY2016 .1 991 gt3.
We have been told that PAG did not allowed any MY2016 991 gt3s
to be ordered or built.
B) There was never a true PTS window opened for MY2015 .1 991 gt3s
per se, at least not for US customers. When new '15 gt3 allocations
were finally given by PAG to PCNA and then to their dealers (around
Sept of 2014), PAG declared a moratorium on PTS and didn't allow
most, if any, of the totally 'new' 2015 gt3 allocations handed out in
the Fall of 2015 (& afterwards) to be ordered as PTS. The only new
allocations of MY2015 gt3s I know of where the 30 late allocations
that we discovered in March of 2015 and that did not correspond to
any opening of a PTS window. These 30 gt3s were done in ten each
in only three colors decided by PAG/PCNA, not the dealers nor the
customers.

C) The only 'normal' PTS window for the .1 991 gt3 was for MY2014.
And even then, the window was closed for US clients before the
window closed for Canadian customers. I will have to research
the exact dates when those windows were opened & closed. But
the whole exercise was disrupted just after production started of
the first MY2014 gt3s by the 'Stop Sale' disaster. The PTS gt3s
that were delivered before the 'Stop Sale' were the lucky ones.
The PTS gt3s held up in port or at the factory in Zuffenhausen
were delayed but at least built, waiting for an engine replacement
that eventually was done to each. It was the late production '14
gt3s in PTS that were not started that met an unusual fate. They
were pushed into MY2015 production slots and in fact became the
only '15 gt3's that were in fact ordered as PTS by actual customers
or dealers on spec on the US market. There were not that many
of those for the US market....but a few keep popping up from time
to time for resale!

In Europe & ROW, the situation could have been slightly different. If
PAG gave their ROW dealers MY2015 allocations PRIOR to the moratorium
on PTS (so say June, July, August of 2015), some of these MY2015 ROW
gt3s could have been ordered & eventually built as PTS. That unfortunately
was not the case with how PAG dealt with PCNA and our allocations arrived
too late to take advantage of PTS before the moratorium was declared by
PAG early in the fall of 2014.
This is all from memory now. So we will have to double check. But I hope
that gives you some idea of how PTS worked on the .1 991 gt3.

Eduardo

Hey Eduardo,
Do you know if the red color (pic above) that shows up in configurator when you select the 2nd PTS box is just an imaginary placeholder color or does it represent a real PTS choice? If latter, do you know which one (of course, only if you are at a liberty to reveal)?
TIA

Good to know. Any chance Club Blau made the list? I would think not, but Porsche has eventually put limited edition colors on the list before, I believe.

I would think there would be a minimum 5 year moratorium on clubblau before it can be approved for PTS--based on what happened with sport classic grey. So that pretty much rules out 991. Maybe 992?
