Setup numbers RS
#841
The car wont run with setup like in the document. it will smear some black on the left rear wheel well, on the forward part but that's it.
Camber -2 with that setup on MPSC2. I took those fender screens out long ago, they are useless.
I put about 6000 track miles on it that way, no rubbing after replacing the fender liners initially with the ones with dimples in them. This were probably the same part# just reworked with a heat gun.
RWD harness was fine.

-2 camber just works well with the tire.
Doesn't matter for rubbing.
They redid my fender liners at the factory.
Not sure if there is a new part number, or if they just reshaped the same part with a heat gun.
You don't need it with stock or recommended track setup.

Thanks will do. This will be a baseline outing for me with the RS. I am second owner and there is no indication that PO did any performance driving or mods of any kind.

Peter looks like you have the car dialed in...except for drive weight ;-) LOL...
FYI....I know my 2017 GTS is different than these GT3/RS cars but after 5 tracks days at Sebring at-1.5 all 4 corners my GTS is wearing the MPSC2 tires perfectly. -1.5 is max I could get for the GTS. Lap times are 2:22-2:24's with clean lap and me being on my game. TBL is showing 2:19 though LOL....I think after the drive over to the track and 20 heat cycles they will heat cycle out before they lose the tread of the tire.
My issue with my GTS is the Ferodo DS2500 pads didn't last and left too much pad build up for 2 days and the Ferodo DS11.1 pads didn't last either and the DS11.1 pads ate the snot out of my Girodisc rotors. I am at a loss of what pads to run for this car.

New setup numbers for 19" setup.
Measurements all made with OEM MPSC2 20" and 21".
We will make changes at the track but I wanted a solid base line with all numbers verified and the car as low as it can be driven on the street with 20-21" and without the splitter hitting the track surface under hard braking:
This is what we will start with for now and we will re-measure with 19" to record changes.
Added adjustable caster pucks to the front to make sure we can achieve optimum numbers as we start playing around.

FWIW: I put in new liner on the right side where I had my gaping hole in the liner but the liner looks the same as the old one and is now being rubbed but no hole, yet.

Nizer,
When the adjustable caster pucks went in they re-aligned very precisely to:
Zero toe front.
2mm in rear each side.
I prefer zero toe front for maximum feel and stability over the next grip that may increase at turn in with a bit of toe out. Also because the car only understeers on throttle at track out.
My thoughts are that where it counts and grip is needed toe out front doesn't help.
I hope to test and experiment with all settings this week.

Today we made very few changes.
I didn't want to make any because driving my car is as good as it gets with my clothes on now.
We played with camber front and rear and played with the rear bar medium and full stiff.
I ran my personal best in 70F with a 2:134
The car is sooo much fun now I was giggling in the car.
These brakes are so crazy good.
People talk here about preferring Ceramic rotors due to yellow calipers, no brake dust and reduced mass.. well the Autoquest Surface Transform brakes are good for .5 - 1. Second but what nobody ever explained to me was the consistency!! I should resell these! It's just mind blowing to me that I can run a personal best on lap 17!
At about half the price of PCVB and refurbish able up to 5 times, every serious track rat needs to look into these.
The brakes, combined with the 19" Hoosiers and the setup that Gavin, owner of Autoquest helped me with makes the car so much more enjoyable, no matter what Laptime someone runs.
It's so much fun to have a super neutral car where you get 4 wheels slides AND can modulate between understeer and oversteer in such a predictable way.

Thank you sir!
For PCCB owners it should be a no brainer.
After 18 sets of MPSC2 I’m happy to buy wheels that accommodate cheaper tires that last longer AND go faster more consistently.
In the grand sceme of tracking the king the best road legal track car on the market, for me these mods are must do’s.
just so much more enjoyable..

Awesome Peter...happy for ya,!!....must feel awesome to not worry about brakes. I’m going through hell with the GTS and the GiroDisc...those Ferodo pads are not working. Only think left is old Pagid rs29yellows. This has thrown a wrench into my track days now.

Good question.
I'm not sure how to dig the G force out of the data yet but I have it and I will try to compare before and after.
Peak GForce might have changed on the dash, I'll check it out later.
