I love how much effort you put into this!

I just drive. But that is of course because it is so difficult to get consistent laps on Nordschleife.

I'll try to get some more info from Michael, MR are often very secretive.

At the Ring, I would also just drive
No point in setting up the car for 10/10thwhen I can only drive 9/10th LOL.

I figure if I can set the car up with mostly OEM parts and tires to the best it can be at Sebring, its pretty much good everywhere. Like the Ring.

A couple of more weekends at Sebring and I hope to go north for the summer; Barber Road ATL, Roebling VIR.. Soon it will be too hot here.

The laptimes I'm referring to are officially announced by Sportauto magazine, driver for the standard and Manthey-Racing car was Christian Gebhardt, editor of Sportauto.

Standard car: 1:08.5min
Manthey-Racing car: 1:05.8min

Greetings Michael

Understood but my post stands. I don't buy the time gains based on the modifications noted and time comps are irrelevant unless done under same conditions.

I'm curious if they removed the mesh on the front fender and why not the entire grill. With the steep rear wing you'd think they need all the extra down force they can get at the front. Per the SportAuto article they just lowered the front by 15mm for HH.

I'll ask about the grill and the rake of the car compared to their Nürburgring setup.

Back to Sebring on Saturday for more testing.
Any update on the DSC testing?

A little more testing at Sebring first or I would already have contacted a local shop to park the truck and trailer for the summer..

Post it up. Seth, you too.
Peter - look forward to meeting you at Road Atlanta and VIR. If conditions are decent, I expect you could get in the 1:32s at Road Atlanta. My best lap there in my GT3 was in the 1:33s. Would love to share some data and talk setup, avoiding all mention of colors, options or valuations.

Just for reference, Manthey 991 GT3 RS run a 7:00 BTG lap,
Still to see a 991 GT3 RS, besides the record lap, do a time like this.

^^ Nice to see a very fast driver that isn't jerking the wheel around all the time.
Looks like a pretty relaxed lap with some room to go faster, so a pretty realistic lap that can be duplicated by those who know the Ring by heart!

What's the full lap for an RS 7:28? What's the BTG deduction, id say about 25 seconds?
