Final Call - Add RS decals and/or deviated stitching to Signal Green build?
I am told by my dealer that since PTS window is closed, Porsche Exclusive is making some additional options available for the RS. This has been reported widely on other threads, so not breaking news, but confirmed again. Apparently, my window to make any additions is now. The two I am considering are the 997 style RS decals, and interior deviated stitching.
I feel that the decals fit an RS and look good. Since through Porsche, they would be on build sheet. Of course, could always be removed.
For deviated stitching, the price is hefty at $9k+, but for such a special color/car I am considering. Acid green could look cool, even though not exactly same as Signal Green, still a green. Don't think I have the guts to do it, and would be too much. Yellow would pull out the yellow from calipers, etc. nicely, but maybe a bit too lemon/lime. Black, Silver or Grey would be really safe, and I am sure look cool. Not sure $9k cool.
So my thinking is yes to decals. Deviated stitching maybe, and would go yellow or black/grey/silver. In the end will of course make the call, but interested in Rennlist opinions always...

Can't you get the silver microfiber package for say $3k? I would do that vs the other color options - I think Microfiber is the way to go as you can't get it on other models. Silver will require a little work to keep it clean but other than that I don't see a downside.
I got decals on the basis I can remove them if I don't like them.

Easy for me but not my car............ I would go acid green or yellow at least. Due to crazy way these cars are holding value the price for stitching is a little more acceptable.

interesting feedback, keep it coming
i figured acid green wouldn't match the signal green, so wouldn't look right
i worried yellow stitching everywhere might look a bit overdone
black/grey/silver stitching seemed like the compromise of something different and interesting, but not gawdy
i am not worried about the price of the option at this point
re: ppf, I do plan to add to the front of car and mirrors, but not the doors

I like matching the calipers - not so much exterior of car. That is why they call it "deviating"
Now -$9000 is steap but if you have the dough, let it go - you'll get it back with this Unicorn
