New update!

At the beginning of this thread I mentioned it was going to be in various parts. Also, the car came back for a few more additions and as well as to be prepped for a track day at Auto Club Speedway.

At the same time, we were working on new 991 GT3 RS (the previous GT3 RS was the battleship one in this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...s-project.html ) This new one is white and we will have a thread on it soon.

During this phase of the project, the “It’s Scottie” 991 GT3 got RSS CarbonAero Canards. You can see the installation of those in the pictures below. There is more about those canards here: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...l#post13048837

The best part is both cars got to drive together at the track that weekend. This car will also be getting HRE wheels in the near future. When that happens, I’ll be here to update.

Enjoy the new batch of photos.

Also, don’t forget to get a hold of us when you’re ready to have us work on your 991 GT3 or GT3 RS. Contact sales@hgmotorsports.com or (619) 504-8140. -Danny (Danny Cruz, not the same as the Daniel Schenkelberg photographer in the latest photos. He's cool too though )

Pretty looking transformation!

Did I miss something......where are the seats....you go this deep into a project and no seats/harnesses....is the owner still riding around the track sitting on the sofas?

Great thread! Why the change from Forgeline wheels to HRE's?

That's a proper wing!

Why install both multi-position pucks and adj thrust arms? Seems redundant.

Awesome. All you're missing is some sweet tillet race seats.

As track-oriented as this build is, it's still mostly a road car. The car will keep the stock seats and stock belts for now. But you know how these things are... that' the currently plan, or choice, of the customer... but these cars are never "done", so who knows what might come in a few months.

It's not really a change. The car was to get HREs from the very beginning. Just that they were a custom special order and they are not ready yet. That said, the Forgeline and HREs will both stay, I believe with different tires, to be swapped out occasionally between each.

Here are some more pictures of our BBi 991 GT3 StreetCup Cage installed. The cage looks good from the outside as much as it does inside.
