GT3 RS vs Z06 vs Viper ACR
A nice read from Motor Trend:
2016 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 VS. 2016 DODGE VIPER ACR VS. 2016 PORSCHE 911 GT3 RS
One interesting observation from the article:

However, it’s (GT3 RS) just not as good to drive as the regular flavor GT3 is. “The GT3’s magical handling has somehow been deleted with the addition of the RS badge,” Cammisa says. “Whereas the GT3 was perfectly neutral, the RS flings itself into corners *** first and then understeers through the rest of the turn.” The GT3 RS felt like an old-school 911, specifically the Widowmaker, i.e., the 996 GT2. Near the limit, the GT3 RS was an oversteering handful. A talented (amateur) driver friend of mine explained that on the same track he was faster in the GT3 than in the GT3 RS. I think that’s going to be the case unless you’re a professional.

Even then, the RS is tricky. “It says a lot about the GT3 RS that it’s the first and only car Randy’s ever spun while hot lapping MRLS,” Scott Evans says. “Not once but three times.”
This makes me feel a little better not being able to get the GT3 RS.

I also like to live dangerously...
I'm not worried about resale on my P1 but am more concerned with repair bills if I hit anything. Lets face it at 100+mph and pulling 1.5+ lateral G the type of accident that causes is always a big one.

It's obvious the individual who favors the GT3 favor Neutral steering whereas those who were brought up on 930 tail happy Turbos can get a faster lap out of the properly rear biased RS. Sure Porsche has been trying to program the tail kick out on the 911 and make it a neutral handling car for the masses... those who know what to expect and know how to take the RS to the Heights of it's performance envelope will extract great lap times and the respect of their fellow drivers! Walter Röhrl even pointed out that Porsche put the "tail happiness" more so into the RS and kept the GT3 Driver friendly.

I'm with CJ to a point. no track Ins, no T/C, but no P1. Did have the distinct honor of tracking F40, but they went above my pay grade and I exited that program and sold the car. Tifosi have no respect for track patina and I haven't the stomach or budget to track rash a 40

Sorry for if I didn't have a better way of saying one can kick out the rear end of the car easier with the RS if one needed too with TC turned off, Walter Röhrl was talking about how he needed to take a 180° turn and had to turn twice to make the tail kick out. And you don't need to make this a Screaming contest with three (!!!). Again a thousand apologies. I'm just going to leave it at that and there is no need to continue.
