Default Integrated Radar

I Know this isn't a new topic but new technologies continue to evolve. Who's got pics of an integrated system in the GT3. Posting would be great. I don't like mounting to the windshield even if it's hard wired. The aggregate knowledge level and information on RL is second to none for Porschefiles. I'd just like to get different perspectives and pick one that suits my taste.
Thanks in advance and let's see some photos!

Get a Beltronics STiR plus system along with Anti Laser Priority. I'm running this system and its all hidden and there is an option that integrates the two systems to work as one. You can also have the display put inside the rear view mirror which is pretty cool. The smokers package option really helps keep the controls hidden. Hope this helps.

How were you able to get the control in there with the smoking package?

I did not get the smoking package because I hard wire in my Passport and use that space for the mute control button. I thought it would be impossible to do that with the smoking package. If you have a picture that would be great

For the last 4 years, I've always installed integrated laser in my cars, but with a new car arriving this weekend I'm actually going to sit tight for a little bit.

Here is some information from my local shop that does all my installs, they were hoping some of this would change at CES this year and I've not reached out for an update:
1) Dragoneye has been updated so ALP no longer defeats it and it is becoming more common.
2) The STiR+ module is out of date and the dash mount units from Escort are now much better
3) Stinger is the best option, but with the screen so large there is no way to mount it discreetly and also expect to pay +$10k for an install.

My last few cars have been STiR+ with Blinder heads (who makes the ALP heads), but at this stage I'll probably run Dash mount for a while. I volunteered my RS as a potential Stinger test case, but they need to do some measurements and thinking when the car arrives.

Wow, 10 grand. Must have military applications.
I'd love to get the whole thing integrated but that's quite a bit more than I'm looking to spend. Maybe 2,500 or so.

I'm using the Escort 9500ci, have been pleased with it. It came with the car, I've done enough work on the car to observe all the wiring that goes with it...no small project to do it right.

Here is a link of ALP Jamming a Dragoneye and a link of ALP homepage currently listing Dragoneye as a LIDAR that it defeats. Where did you get your info that ALP won't defeat Dragoneye guns, I would like to read about it. Kind of silly to spend 10K on a system.

The little tray insert pulls out. You then have enough room for the controls which is hidden as the ashtray cover is closed. I have the display for the radar mounted directly onto of the rear view mirror.

I had various integrated radars in a few different cars over the years. Everything you can think of from Escort to K40 to Beltronics. I finally stopped because my biggest grip is that I'm not huge on drilling holes, etc.

Yes it's reversible with new trim pieces, etc. I still prefer my hardwired V1.

If you're planning to keep your car for a few years, my whole gripe is that the integrated system dates the car.

I did a bunch of research on this recently, and ultimately decided on the Anti-Laser Priority (ALP) system with the STiR antenna integration (not the STiR system, just the antenna). Clean, simple, high performance. Here are the heads:

The Dragoneye gun has been updated so the way they were defeating it no longer works with the ALP heads. This is from the store that installs/sells me the systems. They don't actually sell the dash mounts but in their testing of the new Escort system it is so much better than the STiR+ which is now ~5 years old I would be better off waiting for a new one before installing it.

They still suggested Blinder heads and the new STiR+ when it comes out, but offered Stinger as an alternative. They have the same view that Stinger is just too expensive though the system is easily the best.

Not sure I'd believe much from installers. They are like dealers from a knowledge standpoint IMO. Better to read up for yourself on forums like radardetectorforum.com.
