Want this thing BAD. 156k sticker. Offered them 20k over sticker and they still wouldn't bite. What is wrong with these people? I'm about done with Porsche.

Porsche, if you're reading this.. You guys SUCK. Just build more damn cars.

To think I turned down a 2016 GT3 allocation. What was I thinking!

Sorry for your pain, just pick up a lightly used one on this site, there are several, you won't be disappointed except for maybe the color, and even then there was a PTS Riviera in the classifieds for about what you wanted to pay for that 2016.

You mean stealerships....$43k over for a salmon GT3? Pleaze, let them sit on the car for a while maybe some common sense will set in.

This is part of the problem. Nobody should be offering anything over MSRP

Can you give us the name of this stealership so everyone on here can stay away from them? And just when I thought these scumbags were only specing RSs...not they started doing that with GT3. For shame!

Per the link in the op's original thread, it's Porsche of North Scottsdale.

Well- I am not surprised anymore. It appears that any new unsold 2016 GT3s going for premiums. Could be the last of the best

This. ^^^

When people stop this overpayment nonsense including the (IMO) lusting for PTS colors, that should be either available or not - instead of the games played, then things will become normal. I don't mind overpaying for other things if they're truly rare and special, but cars are not in the above category to me.

With these prices I wonder when 991 GT3s are going to start showing up in the auctions.

My bad, I wasn't able to open the link. Well I'm not shocked...they are already in the top 5 of the stealer list (right behind Auto Gallery, Beverly Hills, Champion, and Carlson). They were trying to sell a GT4 at $30k over MSRP earlier this year.

Sounds like a bargain considering an RS is $150k plus over and the regular GT3 from a performance standpoint is nearly as good. There aren't many 2016 GT3's.

You mention 43m over . We're they firm at that price because it's listed as a used car. If so that seems really high when you could get a new one for less than that. By your post I gather the lava Orange is why you bid, I don't know how many of those are around probably very few in that color. It does appear the cars left are getting scare and these dealers know it unfortunately for everyone still looking. Good luck with your search I was there last month.

OP, how about this...buy yourself a low mileage used GT3 for at or under MSRP and then have it professionally wrapped in whatever color that you want (including lava).
