In the market for a GT3 build. When can we expect to see allocations at dealerships for the 2017 batch?
If the 2017 is the 991.2 GT3, does this change allocation release date?
Thanks in advance!

My guess is there will be no more of this run of GT3s. So no 2017's. Whether there will be another GT3 at all is up for debate. If there is one, maybe not until a MY2018 model?

More likely to see 991rs 2017! Demand seems to be high, looking at the other threads. Hopefully Porsche can send another 200-300 allocations stateside. That would make the situation a lot better. Not only will it create 200-300 happy owners, it will free up some of the cars that are sitting at dealer lots at the moment. Supply and demand.

What Dr. J said. Last I heard the last of the 1.1GT3s were built in December. How many more RS also open for discussion. US builds seem to end in June, although there are some Canadians who have said they have builds scheduled later than that.

What cars are sitting on dealer lots? GT3s?
So when is it thought this rumored GT3 with updated interior (possible manual transmission???) that AP spoke of at Rennfest coming?? 2017 as a 18' model?
Thanks for the input guys!

Do a research, this subject has been discussed at length. I wish I had the patience to look up threads and especially posters that were launching rumors about how limited this car will be. All absolute BS. Porsche likes money and going automatic and cheap engine, they have opened all kinds of markets, especially from the PlayStation and XBox generation.
The truth of the matter is that they have built enough 991 GT3s to rival a famous US manufacturer, with one of their most popular model : the Ford F-150.
With the GT4,they are going after Toyota Camry and Honda Accord production numbers.
So,I don't know about 2017,maybe they'll be retooling or something and expect new production records for the next gen,or I should say,for the mid cycle refresh.

Meant the 991RS that sits with markups. Plenty of lightly used gt3s. But right now no chance of speccing your own 991.1gt3!

There are 55,000 F series trucks sold per month.
Again, appreciate all the input.

Yes. The truth is they have built a lot of them. You must be really late to the party. To be honest,I don't think think they'll have 2017 allocations for the 991 GT3. If anything,I think they will have 991 GT3 RS allocations for 2017.
