Garage cabinets
I'd appreciate feedback from you guys on the brand of storage cabinets/work surfaces/shelving you have in your garages. I'm planning a garage expansion and am looking for ideas. Pictures would be welcome.
The "pictures of your garage" thread shows many fantastic garage layouts but for the most part there is no mention of who makes the cabinets shown or any details about them. Any info you'd like to share would be great.

Moduline cabinets are pretty decent for the money, I ended up purchasing quite a but, then sold the house but the configuration while not ideal still worked out.

For a less expensive alternative I have used IKEA cabinets with good success. They are not heavy duty all metal like the big buck stuff, but it's sturdy where it needs to be, and with the worlds cheapest butcher block tops they sell it looks "big bucks".

Thanks. Some good suggestions; more welcomed.
If anyone knows, how do the Saber cabinets compare to Sears Craftsman? They're both steel and seem to be more or less comparably priced.....

I went with the gladiator garageworks line of products, very industrial but so many options to store anything. Specific golf bag storage, tool storage etc.
It's industrial looking but pretty bomb proof and easy to switch items around with their track mounting system.

Mike,
I've done more research on cabinets than I'd car to admit. My ranking is:
1.) Lista for quality and sheer awesomeness.
Each drawer holds 440lb! When I was talking with Moduline, they made mention that their cabinet manufacturing facility is outfitted with Lista cabinets. My 25 ft. array would have cost around $25,000 to do. Lista isn't as pretty, but is the dream. There isn't a whole lot of information about Lista. I think it is beacuse they do mostly industrial/corporate applications.
Richard Griot used to sell Lista and has them in his garage.
Paul Tuttle, Jr. also has Lista.
Here is a cool series from Rusty Wallace's racing facility.
2.) Moduline
They are all aluminum, which is completely unnecessary in the garage, but still way cool. The cost was actually slightly higher than Lista. I think they look better than Lista. Their overhead cabinet options/sizes made them a front runner for me.
Moduline's website and support is very good. The best source for photos and information is their site or call them directly.

3.) Saber Cabinets
I stumbled onto these in a Garage Journal post. There was zero information other than their crappy website when I started looking at them. They looked very boring and bland (suits me), so I started doing some research. I found the company website and called the owner. He said he used to work for Baldhead cabinets and decided to make a cabinet that is 8/10ths of what Lista, Baldhead, Moduline where at a fraction of the cost. I had him send me a sample cabinet and loved it. He has a standing policy that you buy a sample, he ships with with a return label, you build it and decide to keep or send it back. I kept it.
My 25' array with everything cost me $5,800 shipped to my door. Factor in about $1,000 freight to get the cabinets which is the same for all of these companies.
I think these are miles better than New Age, Vault, Premier, Husky, Craftsman, etc. that are priced similarly. I will be doing black Saber in my new garage that I'm planning to build this coming year.

My garage floor and cabinets were completed by Premier Garage. The floor is a 3 step try-color epoxy floor. I highly recommend their products. No issues and happy with the quality..

Look at all these pristine garages! Here's my garage with cabinets in it. I went with Lista and love them. My workbench is home-made (you can barely see it under the TV upfront).
