Stupid to pay $315k for a GT3RS???

Do you want to drive it? Bubble wrap it. If bubble wrap for 20 years? Buy. If you want to drive don't pay premium.
This is not a limited car. Porsche will make you a car. I can't see one single reason for Porsche to stop production until there are no buyers.

Not an answer to your question, but sell your car and buy the 959 S Canepa (wish I had an affiliation with the sale). It has 600 miles, drive the **** out of it for a year (now 4,000 miles), sell it and buy the RS at a discount. Let the market come to you in style and if your lucky the price appreciation plus what you sold your car for will pay for the RS.

If you are looking at a DD, keep your Turbo S. Get yourself a GT3 or GT4. It will feed the purpose (track day or race car feel driving).
i myself own a GT3RS and not to sound like an a**hole, i sometime wish that i have spare money to buy a Turbo S in white as a DD although i do not drive the RS daily.

DD is a cayenne turbo... Ya I'd never have RS as a DD. Solely to replace my turbo with a weekend and track toy!!!! thanks for your input!
I can't speak on the price of the RS but do you use the Turbo as your DD? And if so looking to replace it with an RS as your DD? If so, hell no, keep both because the GT3 in my experience is no where near as good as a DD compared to a Turbo. If your turbo is more of a weekend car/track care, replace it with the RS

Lol I'd say I would probably put 2-3k miles a year on it. And thanks for your advice. You are right it is not limited and the secondary market inventory will keep growing over the next 6 months....
And thanks all for your input! I know I don't "need" it but it's 1 of those cars I can't stop thinking about.... I wanted to reach out to aficianado to get their opinion on the market for the car....

CA Mike, Trakcar & others make a good points.
I turned down a good offer for my RS. Foolish perhaps but it is quite simply the best / most capable drivers car made by Porsche today (GT4 & others are my manual fixes). A little more of everything. It's worth the value you place on driving it.

Because if you did, you wouldn't be asking this question on a forum like this.
And principle has nothing to do with this. If you were worth $315 Billion dollars, would you still not pay $315,000 for an RS that you really really wanted?
Don't be silly. It's all about money, and whether you have enough.
