Ferrari of Palm Beach had 6 488s
I was curious if Ferrari of Palm Beach had a new 488 in stock.
Drove in they had 6!!!
Well not really in stock, they were all demos from Ferrari NA.
They were prepping all of them for National sales training at Palm Beach International Raceway.
I was very impressed, beautiful machine.
Unforunately I was so busy checking them out, I forgot to take some pictures!

If you're on the 991 GT3 forums and can't accept a turbo in a performance car, you're probably a troll. The 991 GT3 owners are generally the people that accept the future of cars and motorsports. I'm sure you guys said the same thing when they killed the manual option in Ferrari's. It's the future. Who cares about the turbo. In 10 years, that same Ferrari will be 100% electric, and it will be amazing.

Didn't update the styling? The 488 looks a lot different than the 458 in my eyes, and a lot sportier. I think they did any awesome job with the styling tweaks and collectively they make the 488 a much better looking car. Kinda like when you see a LaFerrari parked next to an Enzo. The Enzo's really cool until you compare it to the LaFerrari.

The local Ferrari GM went there for training. They did a 20mph roll on comparison with the 458. Said the 488 pulled 3 car lengths within a blink of an eye. Said the torque was amazing. Asked about the redline issue (7,500 vs 8,000) and he said he didn't know, car was just scary fast and couldn't look at the tach. I guess cpiguy on FerrariChat will still have to wait for his answer on the redline question.

I'm a troll because I'm not a fan of turbos? ok
Yes I like manuals, even in old Ferraris. Fun to drive.
Not sure if the Ferrari in 10 yeas will be electric, and don't care.
Not sure how any of your post is either true or relevant......carry on

Yes, and Mclarens have been powerful, yet soulless from the beginning.
I'll take a 458 in 2 years thank you very much. The 488 doesn't interest me.
You drive a Ferrari for the overall experience, not for the track times.

If all the magazine reviewers agree with me, then I suppose we both have good taste.
A Mclaren is an amazing technical achievement, but it lacks the character, beauty, sound, and soul of a Ferrari and so it doesn't interest me. If you like Mclarens, then good for you, but that's just your opinion.
With the turbo 488, Ferrari has taken a big step toward making their mid-engine flagship indistinguishable from the Mclaren and that is cause to mourn. The posers who always have to own the newest Ferrari will still buy their 488s, but I will be happy to purchase a low miles 458 in 2 years and I expect I will never sell that car.
