Default Brake line question

Is anyone replacing with flexible SS lines? Or is everyone just staying stock?

I did it few months ago. Pedal seems to be firmer on extended sessions, but it was wet/damp each time I went on track, so I can't give you a final word on it.

Stock here. Broke pedal feels fine to me, but of course I've not compared. FWIW, I took Solo DL data and brake pressure data at COTA peaked at 108 bar into turn 11. I've cooled on SS line conversions over the years, esp on sports cars, as I think stock lines are pretty damn good these days. Finally, I figure the ABS is calibrated for stock components and a change to lines might not be best.

I believe they run stock lines on Cup Cars.

I bought the FVD SS lines then my mechanic talked me out of installing them. He said that durability and longevity is LESS with SS lines as they have less flexibility and he has seen them fail with time. Likewise, he has not seen OEM lines fail in modern 911 cars so I gave mine away.
